Worked hard at community college and actually learned sciencesSep 14 2011Mechanical Engineering
worked hard at community college and actually learned sciences and math thay i remember today. I can't say the same for Drexel.

At Drexel, they don't encourage understanding and application. The tests and quizzes they give in mechanical engineering were aimed at tripping studets who failed to remember a specific sentence in an hour and a half lecture.... Or a student who just happens to skip over a few phrases in a reading to maximize his true understanding of the topic.

For my major, I had to submit a portfolio of my work. With the help of one of my high school music teachers, I put together a very-carefully crafted portfolio that showed a wide range of my musical talent. Make sure that everything you submit if professional and showcases your best aspects.

I applied through the free application process to beMay 13 2011Political Science
I applied through the free application process to be considered an early action applicant, which was a very simple process. I sent in my standardized test scores and my high school transcript. I achieved a 3.74 cumulative GPA in high school. My first quarter I was able to maintain a 3.78 GPA at Drexel. I ended up only applying to Drexel because it was a free application, and after my accepted admissions were sent to me, Drexel was my last option, not necessarily because it was my first choice, but because it was the LEAST undesirable of the schools.

Students should still maintain high GPA levels in both high school and be prepared to do so once attending this university to get in to Drexel, and stay in. Many students are dismissed do to academic probation or academic leave, forcing them to withdrawal from the school.

Visit Drexel's campus BEFORE applying, and at the LEAST, before applying to other schools and waiting for a response on acceptance. This will allow you to establish an unbiased opinion of the space and environment of the school. If you have a friend who goes here, make sure to visit & ask them about their experience, too.

Applied, but told them I had a third party payor that would pay 100% but they still treated me like crap. I would suggest apply somewhere smaller, or more organized and efficient.
